Permaculture Design
Designing and implementing solutions for water retention; flood protection; wind protection; irrigation, mulching, compost and natural fertilising systems.
During this time we was able to re-arrange the land in order to create new places like the Oriental Garden, Raised Bed Garden, Duck Pond and, Koi Fish Pond, Fruit tree Guilds and other small improvements.
Additionally, this is one of the most amazing places to watch the night sky.
Oxys - Air Treatment

During the pandemic COVID Benacid was invited to design a range of products that used the most advanced and efficient technology to eliminate bacteria and viruses in indoor air, making the air safer and free of infectious agents.
The OXYS® Clean Air brand project was developed as part of a consortium led by Veneporte with the participation of the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Coimbra and ADAI (Association for the Development of Industrial Aerodynamics).
Its high performance was tested by a multidisciplinary research team with expertise in microbiology, mechanical and electrical engineering. The aim was to determine the performance of the devices in reducing the concentration of contaminating particles (including Covid-19) in the air.

This is a Portuguese company with a big legacy of producing high-quality high-finishing products that are built to last long.
We use the existing skills and techniques to design timeless products in a minimal and sustainable way.
We introduce recycled plastic as a substitute of wood in outdoor applications to decrease the footprint and environmental impact while increasing durability

Inversia - Crossfit equipment
High end Crossfit equipment
Benacid in partnership with the startup Inversia fitness develop a set of professional Crossfit Equipments for Crossfit Box's, Gyms and Crossfit events.
The aim was to develop high end products to be produced in Portugual and some of the proposal designs was already produced and installed.
Thanks to this partnership, was possible to study and evaluate the viability of using recycled materials in this kind of products, not only to increase the enviromental responsability but also to reduce production costs. Always without compromise quality!

Partnering with Lightmobie since it's foundation, benacid was invited to promote the soft mobility revolution in Portugal by supporting and supervise the development and industrialization of all the bike sharing systems, from the ebike to the docking stations.
We are proud to work with the biggest players in the market and to be part of the Portuguese bike industry revolution.
Lightenjin - Llamp
100% - autonomous street lamp
Developed in partnership with Lightenjin and Globaltronic, this was one of the first autonomous streetlight solution in Europe to be installed in the field.
This is a product that collects energy form the sun using solar panels and store that energy in batteries during all day, even in rainy and cloudy days.
Thinks to a special designed solar controller all the energy produce during the day is used to power the luminaire, sensors, communications and to remotely control and adjusted the schedules and working conditions
